The Environmental Justice, Climate, and Community Revitalization Program is committed to unraveling systems of oppression to achieve healthy, sustainable, and just communities by addressing environmental injustices that have overburdened lower wealth, communities of color, and Indigenous peoples by using our resources, cultivating strong partnerships, and prioritizing on-the-ground solutions that communities find value in. We apply an environmental and climate justice lens on public policy, while leading inclusive practices to ensure stakeholders have a seat at the table when crafting policies that will impact their communities. We work to break down federal and state policy into useable materials for people on the ground, engage stakeholders, and build relationships with and help to educate policymakers.

Public Policy
We regularly consult and collaborate with environmental justice leaders, impacted communities, and partners (including local, state, and federal government agencies) on legislative advocacy to advance environmental justice centered policies.
Bimonthly Interagency Environmental Justice Meeting
Regular convenings to bring together our Environmental Justice Team and federal agency staff tasked with doing environmental justice to share resources, ask questions, and provide updates across teams to increase access and availability of funds and other resources across disinvested, frontline communities. The goal of these convenings are to work collaboratively to promote equity and environmental justice across federal agency programs and initiatives.

These mini-publications are distributed bi-monthly to provide federal, state, and local policy highlights and breakdowns with sections dedicated to youth and the clean economy transition. The topics highlighted within these mini-reports are a compilation of requested topics from partners, collaborators, and friends of the environmental justice team.

Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act Summary
The purpose of this publication is to ground federal investments and identify both the challenges and opportunities for frontline and fenceline communities by centering their voices and their past, current, and future issue priorities. The communities and programs showcased in this report serve as examples to Build Back Better, and they represent the wide breadth of constituents across urban and rural landscapes, Indigenous communities, and programs that fall within this spectrum.
