Audrey Buehring is the Vice President of Program Operations at the National Wildlife Federation, where she ensures the organization has the operational infrastructure and strategy to support its programs. She previously worked at the intersection of policy, programming, and operations at the Urban Institute, City of Seattle, and White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders to improve outcomes for underserved communities.
Buehring began her career as an engineer, bringing OnStar from conception to production on several vehicle lines. She holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Auburn University, an M.A. in linguistics from the University of Florida, and a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. In her spare time, she enjoys solving puzzles, taking road trips, and hiking the great outdoors.
