Voting A-Z

Legislators make decisions every day that can help (or harm) the places where wildlife and people live.

It is up to each of us to make sure legislators are making good decisions for the natural areas, wildlife and the communities we cherish. Voting is one of the best ways to do that!

Your Vote Matters

A healthy, functioning democracy depends on the engagement of all its citizens. Legislators do understand the power you wield as a voter. In every election, your vote matters, having a say on who will represent you on important matters you care about. It’s why the National Wildlife Federation defends everyone’s right to vote in fair elections.

Make sure your voice is heard by pledging to vote in upcoming elections in your area. Each ballot cast in an election can have a lasting impact on wildlife, the environment, outdoor recreation, and our communities.

Be an Informed Voter

Take the time to research the candidates on your ballot. Learn their proposed solutions to the issues that matter to you. Your vote will help decide who guides us in addressing the conservation, economic, and environmental challenges our country faces.
