Indiana University South Bend, in conjunction with Indiana Wildlife Federation and Indiana Department of Natural Resources, is hosting the first Northwest Indiana Conservation Happenings meeting. The meeting will take place on June 12, 2019, at the Education and Arts Building on the campus of Indiana University South Bend.
The meeting facilitates dialogue among local and regional organizations and other stakeholders about the opportunities and challenges for conservation efforts in north and northwest Indiana.
The audience will include members of the general public, representatives of a variety of organizations and agencies, and faculty, students, and staff of Indiana University South Bend.
It’ll be a day filled with oral presentations, displays, and perhaps a “field trip” or two to look at some ongoing conservation activities on campus.

Join Wyoming Wildlife Federation and Hunt to Eat for a wild game cook-off, film festival, and a cadre of speakers from the best of the best in the bird hunting world. A day build to celebrate Wyoming's birds and bird hunting.
From the greater sage-grouse to our migratory waterfowl and upland residents, come celebrate our bird hunting heritage and enjoy wild game appetizers, a few films, and hear stories from esteemed speakers.
The wild game cook-off, judged by a team of speakers, will be a competition between 6-8 teams like Maven, The Middle Fork, and Artemis Sportswomen to claim the championship and first annual title. Come enjoy a few drinks, watch the action, and stay for the evening of speakers and films by YETI, Project Upland, Duck Camp, and many more.
All funds raised will go to benefit work to ensure the greater sage-grouse is a figure on Wyoming's landscape for generations to come.

Keynote speaker Mac Stone is an internationally acclaimed conservation photographer. His images help tell the complex stories of wetlands and wilderness through the wildlife and people who rely upon them. Photographing on assignment for magazines and organizations around the world, Stone's roots come from the swamps, estuaries, springs, and Everglades of his home state. His images have been widely published and awarded, and his TED talk has been viewed over a million times. An award-winning author, speaker, and fellow with the International League of Conservation Photographers and Sea Legacy, he strives to expose the dynamic relationship between mankind and the natural world to drive conservation initiatives.
