The rich history of National Wildlife Week dates all the way back to its first celebration in 1938. As our longest-running education program, National Wildlife Week connects budding conservationists of all ages to the awesome wonders of wildlife. Now more than ever, these connections serve as a vital component to recovering our nation’s most vulnerable wildlife.

For people across the nation, this week is a chance to learn more about the incredible animals native to North America, their habitats, and how we can help them thrive.

LIVE THE WILD LIFE!

This National Wildlife Week, join us for an exciting look into ways wildlife behave in their habitats across America and “Live the Wild Life.” Through live wildlife cams, entertaining animal videos and interactive content, learn what makes each species unique and how they play a key role in keeping our ecosystems healthy. Also learn how you can help by donating your time, using your voice, or making a donation so wildlife can live their best “wild life” for generations to come.
