Words fail to express our gratitude. Together we have shared a miraculous journey which raised over £300,000. It was an astonishing effort which catapulted the planning in anticipation of Phase 2 to begin a year early. People from different places and situations gave what they could and the stories will continue to reach far beyond the shores of Iona. We’ll keep in touch with news of progress. The really important news is that if we could raise another £300,000 by the end of May, we would be in a position to cut a full year off the construction schedule. Instead of the current schedule to start Phase 2 in August 2019, we will be able to start in September 2018. This will result in significant savings, including over £100K in 2019 guest revenue that would be lost if the construction stays on its current schedule. So we launched a major fundraising push to get there. We called it a Miracle in May.
