John Red Cloud is the Director of Development and Managing Director of Red Cloud Renewable. The mission of Red Cloud Renewable is to help Tribal members and communities move towards energy independence.
Red Cloud is a 6th generation direct descendent of Chief Red Cloud and his four children are the 7th generation. He was born and raised on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and he is one of the Oglala Lakota Oyate.
He finds inspiration knowing that he is doing something good and positive in the world. Red Cloud was a former high school teacher at Red Cloud Indian School and he hopes to leave a legacy for future generations to build on.
