Whether you purchase trees to plant with your family, you sponsor a tree planting in honor of someone special, or you want to organize an event in your community—your action makes a difference.
With every purchase of select items, we'll plant a tree by partnering with community-based groups that commit to care for the trees for years to come, benefiting the local community and wildlife.
Support tree planting in the United States by sponsoring a tree planting through the National Wildlife Federation's Tree Bank. The Tree Bank was created through the generous support of National Wildlife Federation's members and supporters. The bank provides trees, planting supplies, and educational resources to schools, community groups, and partners who plant the trees in their community.
Trees are essential wildlife habitat for many species. Trees provide food, water, cover, and places to raise young and a single tree is a micro-ecosystem of the larger environment. Adopting wildlife symbolically is a great way for young and old to learn about wildlife and provide habitat by having trees plant in honor of someone.
