Last year, over 62 million sockeye salmon returned to Bristol Bay, Alaska—home to the largest sockeye salmon run in the world. It is simply the wrong place for any mine to be built. Yet that is exactly what is being proposed with the Pebble Mine, a massive open-pit gold and copper mine in the heart of Bristol Bay’s watershed. Save the largest wild sockeye salmon run in the world: Tell the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to stop Pebble Mine.
