The National Wildlife Federation Environmental Justice Advisory Council was established by the President and CEO on February 1, 2022 to serve as an important advisory body to the Environmental Justice Executive Team. The Council was developed by the Federation’s environmental justice team with the support of the Council Co-Chairs to serve as a consultative body on matters including, but not limited to:
The Council will identify, address, and make recommendations based on opportunities for the Federation’s improvement in, but not limited to, the following areas:
As the Federation and the needs of communities that are disproportionately overburdened by environmental degradation and climate change impacts evolve, so will the Council’s focus and priorities.
